Learn how to turn on a theme on a MapGeo website.

Last updated: April 20, 2020

Prerequisites:

  • Access to an internet browser.

Process:

The process for turning on a theme is very simple. Once you have navigated to a MapGeo site, click on the button at the top right of the screen. This will open up the Themes panel on the right side of the screen, and here you are able to toggle themes on and off.

  • By clicking on the toggle next to a theme name, you can turn it on . Once you toggle the theme on, it will display on the map to the left. You can toggle on or off as many themes as you would like, with the themes at the bottom drawing over the themes at the top of the list.

  • Clicking on the button next to the theme toggle will display the legend for the theme. To hide the legend, simply click on this button again.

  • The Base Theme dropdown will allow you to select a Base Theme for the map. This means that all themes will draw on top of the Base Theme. Base Themes are usually either aerial imagery, Google road data, or a combination of the two.
